Birth of a Sin Vol. 3: Wrath and Lust
“I love you…I know you don’t believe me but I do…I’ll prove it to you.”
Tristan didn’t believe her.
How could he?
Ira was the woman who kidnapped him, imprisoned him, tortured him, and forced him to become a genetic abomination. She is a ticking time bomb. A monster that feeds on death and fear. Yet the longer he spends in her gilded cage, the more he sees through the Wrath and madness. The longer he spends with her, the more she exposes her mutilated heart. There was no one more powerful, more beautiful, more rich than Ira Dante. And she wanted to give him everything.
So he was going to take it. Every single inch she offered, he will possess a mile.
She wanted to turn him into a monster, just like her.
Will a new sin be born, just as she planned?
Or will her wish tear them both into pieces?
Birth of a Sin Vol. 2: Pleasure in Pain
Power, Money and Beauty; Ira Dante had it all.
She was the woman of his dreams.
All Tristan had to do was say “yes” and she would give him anything he could dream of.
But all that money came from trafficked drugs, stolen weapons, and mountains of bloodied corpses. All that power lead to sadistic rages and nightmarish madness. Underneath her beauty was a monster that threatened to rip him apart.
Ira was batshit insane.
So Tristan refused; their relationship was built on pretty little lies hiding the hideous truth and as a vigilante, he spent years working against criminal empires like the Dante Family.
Unfortunately, Ira was a woman who never took ‘no’ for an answer and she has long learned that all is fair in love and war.
The Curse of Dawn
In the darkness of night, the moon is the only light.
Your beauty will be as fair as your heart.
But in the brightness of day, the sun enters the fray.
You will be a nightmare, destined to be torn apart.
Cole Holton is a burden. At least that is what he tells himself, and death would be the only way to end the nightmare known as his life. Until he meets Mallena, a woman with the stars in her eyes and a curse haunting her heart. A woman who is losing the one thing she gave him… Hope.
Can Cole break the curse and free Mallena from despair? Or will he fail and fall to his own demons?
Birth of a Sin Vol. 1: A Beautiful Lie
Ira owned the city. As the head of the Dante family, she had the law in her pocket and her red manicured nails in every criminal enterprise.
But when she met Tristan – a man with ocean blue eyes and an angelic smile – it was love at first sight. It didn’t matter that he owned nothing to his name and lived in the worst part of her city. Anything he could desire, she could give him.
There was just a tiny problem.
Tristan was a vigilante. A partner of the hero whose mission was to take down Ira’s empire.
Will their relationship, built on pretty promises and beautiful lies, unravel under his secret, or does that really matter?
Either way, Ira had her eyes set on her prize and she always gets what she wants.
Damn his feelings on the matter.
Omg this book was wild!!! Check TW and CW! Ira and Tristan are hot together!!! The ending of this book left me with my jaw dropped. The world building was on point I felt immersed in the story.
This emotionally gripping story will keep you glued to the pages as you read about Cole, a former military member who was discharged after suffering injuries of his physical and mental being…What happens during this tale of fate will leave you holding your breath, biting your nails and turning pages well into the night.
Coda is quickly becoming one of my favourite authors. I chose to read this book after thoroughly enjoying another book of theirs “A Beautiful Lie”. Coda didn’t disappoint with this book. The story building alongside characters that feel as real as you and I make for a ‘staying up all night read’.
History has a way of repeating itself. This is especially true when no one believes it. The murders were the same as the case that forced Jim’s grandfather into an asylum. Now history is being repeated and Jim and his partner John are in for a night of unexplainable terror.
I went into this book with low expectations but boy was I wrong to have them. THIS WAS A FANTASTIC READ, A FANTASTIC READ. Firstly, I love the dominant female-submissive male MCs as it is an underrated trope. Secondly, the Dante family being based around the seven deadly sins was cool. And lastly, the storyline was phenomenal and had enough subplots that the book was never boring. 5 stars from me.
